Chappell Builders have recently completed the impressive education project at Le Fevre Peninsula Primary School—refurbishing Building 3, Level 1 for a vibrant and inclusive student experience!
In collaboration with Studio 9 Architects and Ventia, this refreshed space now supports creativity, accessibility, and wellbeing for primary school learners.
What’s new:
- 5 newly built classrooms plus upgraded teacher prep areas
- 2 calming sensory “chillout caves” designed to support emotional regulation
- Multiple study nooks with signature blue ceiling tiles
- A new lift and DDA-compliant bathroom for accessibility needs
- Hearing loop technology installed to improve accessibility for students with hearing impairments
Design highlights:
- Timber film and wallpaper feature throughout corridors and the lift
- Repointed brick wall in the sensory cave as a standout architectural feature
- Custom blue joinery echoing the school’s colours and complementing the nearby waterscape
