Strathalbyn Health Facilities Upgrade

As a result of the closure of the 24 bed Kalimna Hostel on High St, Strathalbyn, the community were in need of a new facility. Chappell were successful in securing the project to deliver a contemporary residential aged care facility in its place. Located next to the hospital, the design features locally sourced limestone and has a residential style elevation to complement the existing facility.

The total project included 36 beds including a dedicated Memory Support Unit, refurbishment to the existing hospital, carparks and landscaping. A testament to the Chappell team, the client, hospital staff and residents were all extremely happy throughout the works and especially thrilled at the end result.
